There is something truly wonderful about a courthouse wedding. It’s stripped down, simplified and genuine. People choose a courthouse wedding for so many different reasons but in the end it comes down to this… Two people that love each other and just want to be married. I was asked to photograph these two exchange their vows in San Luis Obispo, where we took a few portraits after and then we set out to take pictures at some of the places in Paso Robles that meant so much to their relationship. The bar where they first met during trivia night, the restaurant where they had their first date… Despite the rain (which in California is so very foreign) we had an amazing time. Nicole and Philip, thank you for including me in such a special day, for laughing at my lame jokes and for being up for anything. I am so happy for you both <3
