There is something amazing about being a storyteller. Being a portrait and wedding photographer is about so much more than pushing a button on a camera and delivering images to clients. It’s about telling the story of someone’s life. In this case, the story of two people’s lives as they prepare and plan and pray over becoming one life together. It is what keeps me coming back over and over, what makes me fall in love with photography more and more after each session I do. This session was no different.
Belle and I grew up together. Like… Daisies in Girl Scouts together. We had sleep overs, braided each others hair, rode our bikes, played hopscotch. And now she’s met the man her soul belongs with. The man she is going to spend the rest of her life with.
Getting to know Nathan and watching these two laugh with each other was everything I could have hoped for, both as an artist and as a friend. Congratulations to you both on finding your person. I can’t wait for your wedding next year!!!
