Oyster Ridge Vineyard Wedding

All weddings are magical, but when you’ve walked through life with your clients for the past seven years, it makes the day even more special.

The Couple

I remember the first time I met Jenn, we were meeting up with her & Charlie for a beer in downtown San Luis Obispo. Brandon and I had recently started dating and I was nervous to meet his friends girlfriends. I never had a lot of female friends growing up. Jenn walked in and I knew we would be friends. Jenn is hilarious and honest and I can alway rely on her to have wine in her kitchen.

Plus, she is my go to person for brutal honesty spoken in love. Jenn has also single-handedly referred more clients to me than anyone else, therefore she gets extra brownie points for that.

Meanwhile, Charlie is Brando’s work bestie. They basically finish each other’s sentences. He can build almost anything and is the biggest goofball I know (see giraffe photos below.) Watching him grow as a dad has been such a cool experience.

I have been documenting their family since their oldest child was still growing in Jenn’s belly. From their maternity session & annual family photos, to their hospital session & in home newborn portraits, I LOVE getting to walk through life with them and tell their story with my art.

We adore their family beyond measure, and we were so thrilled to be a part of their day. It’s also the first time I got to photograph a wedding that my husband was a groomsman in. He second shot a wedding for me one time and decided it wasn’t his thing. So it was really nice to spend a whole day with him while I was working!!
