ARVE Error: Mode: lazyload not available (ARVE Pro not active?), switching to normal mode

There are few things in life that can compare to the early days of bringing a new baby home. The days are chaotic and messy, the nights long and sleepless. But there are also bright moments of joy, of blissful contentment that the journey of pregnancy is done, your child has arrived, and this new chapter in your family’s story is beginning.

These are the moments I live for. Documenting all of it. The wild, the laughter, the calm and the joy. The quiet moments and the loud ones. Because every moment in those first few days are fleeting and precious. This lifestyle newborn session in Paso Robles had all of those moments. My heart was full to bursting by the end of our time together.

This session was also the first time I attempted to incorporate lifestyle video into my sessions. It’s not perfect but it makes me so stinking happy, I can’t even explain it. Video allows me to capture the laughter, the ever changing expressions, the glances between new parents. It tugs on my heart stings and reminds me of the home videos my dad used to make of our childhood. I’m definitely not looking to put up my photographer’s shoes in exchange for video, but I am really excited to dig into video more in the coming year!!
